The Spiritual Master of the World, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, was awarded the title of Jagadguru at the age of 34 by Kashi Vidvat Parishat on Makar Sankranti day, January 14, 1957. 

The Kashi Vidvat Parishat also conferred on him the titles Bhaktiyoogarasavatar and Bhagavadananta Shri Vibhushita Jagadguruttam, as well as the title Nikhildarshan Samanvayacharya. In addition, they also received the titles of Shrimat Padavyakya Pramana Paravarina, Vedamarga Pratisthapan Acharya, and Sanatana Vadic Dharma Pratishthapana Satsampradaya Paramacharya.

Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj was born on October 5, 1922, in the village of Kripalu Dham, Mangarh, Pratapgarh district, Uttar Pradesh.
